The Zoo!!

We have finally arrived. We were supposed to meet a group of girls at 10 but it took a little longer than we thought to get ready so we got to the zoo at about 1

Ward Easter Egg Hunt

Warning don't read if... I got nothin.

 Just as a note... these are my views and my views alone.  If you are offended, it is probably because I am not proficient enough in what I was trying to portray as my views and I am sorry that I proficient in the English language enough to say what I would like to so that everyone gets what I am saying or understands my thought processes.  I am human and so are you. We all could be a little better at something in our lives.

I was browsing through people's facebooks tonight and was reading to catch up on old friends lives when I came across a video about our government pretty much "going to crap."

It was of a few prophets of my church that I belong to, and strongly believe in, predicting our government's "collapse."  I thought it was an interesting video but didn't think it was anything new.  I guess since I have been hearing this since I was very little I have just thought, well these are hard times and hard times call for us to step up as a people and become ready.  Become ready as a family, as a spiritual individual, as a community, and a whole. 

I then scrolled down to read what other people had commented on her video she posted and was surprised (but not really) about how others try to explain away what these men of God have said.  They try to refute what these men are saying (which by the way is directly from God so good luck with that) and call them false prophets.  I think it interesting that how they do this is by attacking the men directly or personally (he "looks" scary...Seriously that was the best you could come up with?)  hmm this is probably because you cant fight the truth so you try and go around it...

However, then I thought about how this shouldn't surprise or upset me.  Reason being, I know what I believe is true.  I believe in a Savior who died for me and everyone AND I believe that God has appointed righteous men to speak as His mouthpiece to us this day.  Why wouldn't I listen and believe right?

I also thought about since the beginning of time there have been people that "try" and refute what righteous men (appointed by God) are trying to tell people in their time.  Look at the scriptures.  History repeats itself.  But, sadly, these people wont get it until the truth is staring them in the face and they realize what they were trying to fight against was the truth. Good luck "drawing the fog over your eyes" or "kicking against the pricks" the truth will come out in the end.

Baby's room dreams

So lately I have had the itching to be crafty... I think it is rubbing off from my neighbors. But I have been debating whether or not to make the bedding for Lucas's room.  He wont be using it for a while so that means I have a while to get it done... But I don't know if I have the know how.  What I would really LOVE to do is:
Comforter
Bumper  (I know people say these are dangerous but Devy has done great with hers AND it keeps her
    from sticking her legs between the poles on her crib and freaking out in the middle of the night... So,            you can judge me but I love them)
Bed skirt
Window treatments
Wall decor with his name or just fun little pictures
And any other fun little things to make his room look like I am good at decorating

Something kind of like this but not as much and not so busy...



Is this possible or am I just dreaming way too big...

After going grocery shopping I was in the kitchen putting some of them away. When I came back to get the rest of them Devy had evidently gotten hungry and found the grapes...
